beautiful car Ira !!!!.....even more better, another visit to Fred`s !!!!!!.........fine,fine layout
This Victoria is a nice model for the price. As you say, it is smaller than 1/24 scale...closer to 1/25. Love your picture and the perfect setting.
Nice layout and pictures, I have that one in Black and White.
My father refrained from buying a '53 because he read in Popular Mechanics that the '54 would then have the OHV V8. So in '54 we got the 239 cid "Y" block with "3 on the tree" 4 door Mainline sedan with radio and clock delete.... the absolute cheapest you could buy save for a cigarette lighter. The rest of the dash were all plugs. LOL Oh, he did pay extra for a white top so the car would be cooler in the summer (not really)
@al_dorado My understanding is that the next car up to be modeled when DM got screwed over by the Chinese factories was the 53 Ford Victoria HT. I recall this because I was so excited that this car was coming. I wish Brooklin would do it in 1:43 in this body style and as a convertible too.
