Couldn't find anything on the 1/24 forum about the Ford gt40 1969 Winner of Le Mans. Race was won by Jacky Ickx and Jackie Oliver. Found this 1/24 version made by Altaya. The seller told me this 1/24 version was presented as a gift when you bought the complete 1/8 version of the gt40 which you could purchase in about 110 parts published by d'Agostini / model-space. Never seen it before, nice details and quality is good, car build with metal body and plastic parts. I would appreciate if anyone would share more info about this version.

Beautiful car model. We chronicled the Revell Creative Masters cars and, of course, they all are in 1/20th scale. Here's that same car with authenticated signatures of both drivers.

@perrone1

Wow, that is a highly detailed beauty! And signed!! I couldn't find another 1/24 version except for this less detailed version published by Motormax / Gulf. But this one has mirrors and the original 1:1 car doesn't have them.

New to me too, looks great. Hopefully Lu sees this and may have some knowledge. What a great find! I have the Wix 1/24 version which is nice, but commonly available.

Did some extra research. Hachette made the same gt40. Hachette, Altaya are the same I believe..  They made a serie of 1/24 Le Mans winners.

@donderbeestje well done! I now have a vague recollection of seeing this maybe once or twice a couple of years ago. Hachette et al are intriguing. They dont seem to mass produce just turn out a huge variety, and in one case their models, the Alfa centenary series, have become very hard to find and relatively expensive. I've never seen the D type otherwise I would be all over it.
