Franklin Mint Logo/Emblem Decals
I have a 55 Ford Sunliner that is missing a Ford decal on the door but have another one that is a junker that has the decal. How can I safely take one of these decals off the junker and put it on the car I want to keep. These decals are so delicate I'm afraid I'll end up ruining it. Should I also seal the decal with futura? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jeff, you might check out Microsol or Microset, not sure which one will soften up the decal.....
....Be careful if it is very dry or hold or cracked.
Good luck. Maybe someone else will have another suggestion.

Thanks for your response Patty. No one else seems to have any other suggestions so it may be even more difficult than I thought.

Jeff, I think the thing is to get the old decal "soft" enough to lift off. Microsol should do that..
