DM 1956 Pick `em up
Local Bartonville County Sheriff, B T Justice, was called out when an Animal Husbandry Expedition took a turn for the bizarre.
Unbeknownst to Chet and Emily Creamerson, even as they’d planned their multi-purpose visit,the property had been under surveillance for several months
On that fateful Saturday in October when they`d hauled the kids out to Farmer Ochreman`s “Petting Extravaganza and Bone Stock Processing Plant", they hadn`t expected to be spending the night,and many nights thereafter,in the slammer
The cow alone,among ALL the defendants,was found to be blameless.....and also, delicious when served with a starch and a handful of greens
For Monkey Bellhop,this would be his 4th such conviction.....fortunately for MB,owing to his agile dexterity,no Big House in the country was built to hold the likes of him 😰
As it all shook out, beaver turned state’s evidence for a new life set-up in Owitzcolden Canada where he still builds the occasional dam on the Dodds compound

Love to see the Beaver's work on the Dodd estate. I imagine he's very "busy".

Me too Bob.....let`s hope Jack proves to be forthcoming with the imagery.......I`d venture up there and get a few photos myself, but his ferocious guard hounds are not to be trifled with
Oh.......and fair warning Bob.....you`ll probably get in trouble for calling him Dodd.....jus` giving you some lead time to prepare for the onslaught

I am fairly sure that the beaver is part of the rodent family so it's no surprise he turned rat to save his...tail. Upon arrival at my estate "Doddnot" he seemed to consider himself quite a star due to his status with authorities, including his new name "Bucky". He wouldn't do a lick of dam labor and insisted on my clearing any such requests through his relocation agent who was apparently getting him into toothpaste commercials like his grandpa of the same name did in the 60s. I told him Ipana was history and he would be too. I then set Otis my territorial 22 pound Poodle/Wheaton cross attack dog on him. I think he's "up the river," so to speak, at this point....a little town of Russian settler history called Arsefrozeoff. Good riddance!

beaver aka "Bucky" has been located...sort of.....
"we was on the satellite tracker listnen`all night until about 22:00 hours when Deputy Dooley first heard it"
.....described as a cracklin sound (PORK cracklin that is), aerial audio imagery has narrowed the source down to an abandoned vehicle in the parking lot of a long deserted diner...... just inside the village of Arsefrozeoff....this whole area is at imminent risk of leveling and filling in preparation for the new Tim Horton International Donut Cartel Headquarters.....
as jaws-of-life crews begin to arrive for the grand truck opening,local sentiment is most generally expressed as :"we just hope the Dodds weren`t too hard on the beaver"

@john-barry Word has it that when the old truck was pried open by the Timmy Ho site clearing crew they found a shivering and humbled Bucky, wearing his T-shirt with June Cleaver's face stenciled on it. The connection was made and his life was spared. Last seen headed north towards Bluetush, Alberta.
