Low tonight is forecast to be 31 in middle Mississippi. Quite unusual this early.

when temps fluctuate to such an extent, one can never be quite certain just how to prepare for a day afield ......should you bring along your trusty hound dog.....or go the full pack elephant route ??

The beer truck, of course! Even with an elephant, it beats a puppy and a pickup all day long!

that 40 Ford with the accessories in the back, and with the trailer, look great John. I have a shelf in a relatively new showcase made for such displays. Just gotta make em now!

@perrone1 .....you aint wrong boss!!.......but you`ve gotta take into acct, if later questioned by the authorities,.....the elephant will remember EVERYTHING,whereas the hound will just smile agreeably while thumping his tail on the floor Shutmouth

thanks John, here is the latest, and sorta last showcase. Very disorganised at present, but the idea is to include dioramas in the larger space bottom shelf. Same firm who made my 2 originals. Greg, if your viewing this and are after showcases this company are great to deal with and have a Sydney outlet.

@geoff-jowett ............re:showcases....Wow !!! those are a delight !!!.........you have a treasure trove of automobilia

would you ever consider putting the dioramas on the top shelf?...leave the top cleared except for a single line of clear/boxed pieces along the rear edge(as you show in your first pic)......in my case (literally) I found that space open above larger pieces,or dioramas, allowed the items to tell their story more comfortably

thanks John, yes did consider it but I thought by making the bottom shelf larger, it would help give a "top down" view of them, although now giving it further thought...hmm..may have stuffed up. Shelves are fixed, damn!
