George Shire, I would love to see your list

Can you post it for me? Sounds like it is something we should be checking out based on the comments below! Smile

Hi Michelle...My "Wish List" has been an on-going DAILY post for the last 33 days.

I'm honored that you are inquiring about it and very appreciative that you are interested. Of course it is important to bear in mind that any "Wish List" of possible 1:24 die-cast cars is not always agreed upon by every collector here on the Forum.

Though it does appear that many have been in favor of the cars I've talked about and posted photos of, there have also been some cars that folks wouldn't choose for their own lists. That is certainly understandable, as we are all different and have individual likes and dislikes when it comes to our taste in cars.

The primary reason for my starting this daily "wish list" of personal favorites is not only to share my thoughts, but more importantly to trigger 1:24 interest and conversation among all our friends here on the Forum.

For the last four or five years, we've all pretty much have had to concede to the reality that 1:24 scale is dead. But for those of us that were loving all the great cars that Danbury Mint, Franklin Mint, WCPD, GMC, and a few others were giving us on a rapid basis, it's been difficult to believe that there is not a market for 1:24 scale anymore. I lead the pack in feeling there is!

For those that have followed my posts here on the Forum, I've probably been the most vocal among the the group in continually dreaming and stating as such here that I don't want to accept its demise.

Your news the other day that there may be some upcoming 1:24 releases was monumental to hear, and for me and I know others here as well, the torch appears to be lit again that 1:24 may yet have life.

Here is my list to date:

1961 Plymouth
1953 Mercury
1955 Mercury
1953 Hudson
1956 Oldsmobile
1960 Chrysler
1954 Pontiac
1959 Dodge
1957 Oldsmobile
1962 Oldsmobile
1959 Oldsmobile
1959 Buick
1955 DeSoto
1947 DeSoto
1962 Plymouth
1954 Plymouth
1957 Buick
1958 Oldsmobile
1953 Kaiser
1948 Hudson
1954 DeSoto
1952 Hudson
1954 Oldsmobile
1961 Chrysler
1950 Pontiac
1956 Cadillac
1958 Ford
1960 Edsel
1960 Ford
1958 Buick
1960 Oldsmobile
1961 Oldsmobile

Rest assured Michelle that, I am ready with pocket-book open to embrace any new cars that may evolve from your new project. THANK YOU for all you do now and in the past to feed our quest for 1:24 scale cars.

Full size 60's cars would be at the top of my list for sure.
