Oooooh yeah.....love both of them.....with a minor preference for the Chevelle!
Geno, two nice models. I am guessing a First Gear model on the Ford and the Chevrolet you built?
WOW, WOW, WOW, definitely two gorgeous and excellent models there. This is amazing. I have two uncles who both had rides just like you have here. My oldest uncle had a red 66 Fairlane with the 427 and his younger brother had a maroon 66 Chevelle SS 396. They always jokingly argued forever which was fastest and which was the better car, Ford or Chevrolet. I was thrilled to go out on a country road and watch them race many times. One would win one time and the other the next. It was so funny to hear them argue and make excuses why they lost. I was sure surprised and glad to have seen your post here and have two models like my uncles had. Loved your post. Thank you for the pics and great memories Geno...

Thanks so much guys. John, you are correct, lol. Two of my favorite cars. I love those 66/67 Fairlanes, especially the 427 variety like this one. They were beasts. And the '66 Chevelle is my all time favorite Chevelle. Stangfreak, you are most certainly welcome. Great story, I enjoyed that myself.😊
@jack-dodds I too have a minor preference for the Chevelle because it shared the same body shell with my 66 Buick Skylark, my first new car.
great pics of great models Geno, thanks. Nice follow up too.
@bob-jackman You're quite right Bob. I'm surprised that I never picked up on the fact that these two share the same body shell. I think the mid-body crease on the Buick was what fooled me.
I know you like suggestions John B.; so how about a 3 car comparison John....the '66 Buick Skylark GS 400 vs. Chevelle SS 396 vs. Olds 442?
@kevins Mine too! When I suggested the other three GM cars for JB comparison I didn't include the GTO because the outcome would have been obvious.
