I like this Edsel in its classic pink color.
Beautiful Hollis, I love mine, I picked mine up for a 10 dollar bill. It was missing the antennas, quickly replaced, a quick wax job and she looks like new. I was gonna take it apart and repaint it, but the pink has grown on me. I'm gonna leave it be.😊
Since the day in late 1957 that I saw the NEW '58 Edsel's on the showroom floor of an auto dealership, it is a car that I've the styling of. It was DIFFERENT and it drew attention to it because it was different. That Grill was nothing like any other car of that year! I have 3 of the 4 DM convertible models of this Edsel. I'm only missing the red one. All are stars on my shelves. THANKS for sharing the memory Hollis!

My third purchase from the Franklin Mint!
An original FM purchase for me too, except its the blue/turquoise? version. Remarkable to think of how successful FM were back in the late 80s, early 90s. They had their own huge warehouse showroom here in outer suburban Melbourne, and for a time a retail outlet here too. I'd imagine they had distribution centers in other countries as well.
Kind of cool for a convertible, but I'll rough it.
