The mid-sixties design of GM's personal luxury automobiles marked for me, the most beautiful and elegant of any car produced. The long hood and short deck designs of the Toronado, Riviera and their flagship Eldorado eschewed all the chrome accents and garish fins for a clean curvaceous look. Unfortunately, I only have the '66 Riviera and Toronado in promo format, but this '68 Eldorado looks just fine.
Beautiful. I have this green one. The first generation Eldorados are the only ones I like.
stunning car and model. I have the maroon one. Nicely portrayed, thanks Rich.
This kit is hard to find but is one I'd love to have a go at.
@geoff-jowett Geoff. Here is my built model of the 66. Finished this one recently. Had 2 separate hoods, which both work with the motor set up.
wow thats great John, now I gotta find one!!! Its a stunning looking car, thanks mate.Geoff. Here is my built model of the 66. Finished this one recently. Had 2 separate hoods, which both work with the motor set up.
PS, well how about that? found one first off on the local ebay, I hadnt been looking hard enough! Soon on its way!
I have the 1/24 scale Automodello Eldo and Buick Riviera, both are excellent models.
Man, I wish they were more affordable. That's a beautiful model. The 1st generation Eldos are the only ones I like as well. It was all downhill after that. Sadly.😟
