I’ve been mulling over which ‘57 Chevy convertible I should get to go with my red Sport Coupe. I knew I would eventually get one as soon as I decided on which one from DM’s offerings. I ruled out the blue pretty early on, so it was between the surf green, the 50th anniversary Colonial Cream, or the Inca Silver version. I really couldn’t decide, and they were all in my new in box $100 comfort zone. While looking through eBay yesterday my mind was made up for me…
That seemed to be a really good deal to me so I decided to check out his other listings. The first one listed was one that I gave up on long ago. I dearly wanted one to go with my blue and white coupe but they were always out of my reach. I couldn’t hit the buy it now fast enough!

@gdh It definitely is a beautiful, period perfect color. I’m attaching a review of the model from Philly Mint that you may find interesting. They have a way with diecast porn that makes me lust after certain models!

Kevin, Vinny (Philly Mint) was a friend back then and often asked to use my photos and reviews. After a while he quit asking and just copied them (less my copyright, that he removed) and used them. Both are mine. Glad you like it.
@perrone1 Hey Tony, I actually thought of you while reading that review. I’ve read enough of yours that I must subconsciously known that it was yours. Thanks for the updated and expanded info.
eBay has been very good to me, received the two models today and another jackpot. Two time capsules over 20 years old and brand new in the box. I’m amazed at how many times I’ve had this happen.
