@perrone1 Yes Tony, if I recall skirts were removable, but CC was not. Some with better skill levels than mine were able to carefully remove the cc. Some had even listed step-by-step removal instructions on the old D4C site. I didn't have the "cojones" to take on that venture so I passed on this beauty.

Yes, the conny kit was not meant to be removed, but working as a tool and die maker for many years for the auto industry, before I got into CAD design for the very same helped a lot. I had access to the tools to make it happen. Believe me, I was still nervous. This was actually my very first diecast I modified. It was all or nothing, lol.😲😁
The red/white version is a beauty no doubt, but I always felt DM took the easy way out for that color combo. For me red/white was more appropriate for a lower priced Chieftain than a high end Bonneville. Just my opinion of course.I have the red convertible which came without the Continental kit.
