@perrone1 Yes Tony, if I recall skirts were removable, but CC was not. Some with better skill levels than mine were able to carefully remove the cc. Some had even listed step-by-step removal instructions on the old D4C site. I didn't have the "cojones" to take on that venture so I passed on this beauty.

👍

Yes, the conny kit was not meant to be removed, but working as a tool and die maker for many years for the auto industry, before I got into CAD design for the very same helped a lot. I had access to the tools to make it happen. Believe me, I was still nervous. This was actually my very first diecast I modified. It was all or nothing,  lol.😲😁

The red/white version is a beauty no doubt, but I always felt DM took the easy way out for that color combo. For me red/white was more appropriate for a lower priced Chieftain than a high end Bonneville.  Just my opinion of course.

Tonto's daily ride was, indeed, Scout. Not an IH Scout but Scout.

Scout

And by the way, in the TV series, "The Lone Ranger", it is Tonto who suggests the name of the Ranger's horse as well. He says, He is like a mountain of snow; silver white. The Ranger says, I will name him Silver.
