Well alrighty then! If you tell me that Easter is tomorrow - I'll dye my eggs TONIGHT!
ahhhhhhhhhhh ....................Mr Perrone tosses all caution to the wind with boiled eggs (and a splash of Tamari ?)......not a SINGLE Peep was heard from
Batman was horrified to discover that his shipment of 1:43 scale 1963 Buick Rivieras had been hijacked by the notorious rogue rabbits known as The Burrow Gang. After putting the run on the terrified driver, the larcenous lapins were now busy stripping out the GMC delivery truck for good measure, as the seat stuffing made excellent bedding material. The gang had heard rumors in the carrot patch that the incoming Rivieras were in very hot demand with a wealthy group of collectors known as The Forumites, so they knew they could move their haul quickly and for big dollars. Batman had correctly figured the Burrow gang had to be responsible for this situation so in desperation he contracted Ira Lopp, a self described rabbit whisperer and imposter, who decided to go undercover this day with baskets of carrots to use as a treat and ice breaker. Unfortunately for Ira, gang leaders Clyde Burrow and his brother Buck were given a heads-up by gang striker Perceptive "Percy" Pig, who was also the brother of Clyde's moll Miss Bonnie Porker. Percy had immediately noticed the stitching in the arse of Ira's rented bunny suit when he bent over to set down a basket of carrots. Realizing he had been made, Ira Lopp laid his cards on the table. After listening to Ira Lopp's "hypothetical" pitch, Clyde and Buck had a quick whispered discussion and came to a decision. Knowing that the faux rabbit likely had ties to the model car trade, they let Ira know that they could find him the missing models for a "modest" cash payment and a pair of Brooklin 1934 V-8 Fords; which was the favored car of both Burrow brothers. Clyde's only stipulation was that his Ford couldn't be beige as that would give him bad dreams. They also insisted that Ira leave the baskets of carrots he had brought. Ira advised the Burrow brothers that he would go speak with "his guy" and get back to them asap. As he left, Clyde and Buck laid back and lazily gnawed on carrots; knowing this day would be a profitable one.
