I mentioned the other day that I added this as well as a 1:43 Mark lll as a from me to me Bday gift. Surprised no comments on the Eldo so I’m sort of reposting it!
.. has been on my shelf since it came out.... great car!
It is a beauty, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I think it will make a great companion to the Continental MKIII.
I have the Turquoise Eldorado and think it's a super addition to my collection. I have it displayed next to the Continental Mark III.
I have the white one. It is a nice model overall. As with the Riviera, it just doesn’t WOW me, something about it is just a bit off. Unlike the Mark IIIs, which I love ❤️, I have 4 of those.
I was also disappointed to find it built with rear wheel drive. Now you don’t look at the underside, but seriously. How is a mistake like that missed.
Anyway, it looks good sitting next to the MK III in white.

Nothing against the model, but it's one that I'm okay not having on my shelf. Cadillac's after 1962 weren't my thing. Looks like a great model though.

Not me it's a little too rich for my blood.
I really like this Eldo model but it's way too pricey for me. I like the green and red ones. I'd luv to have a 1:1.
I have one and love it. Gorgeous design. It looks great next to the Automodello Riviera.
Not for me. One it is expensive, two it is resin. What got me starting to collect these wonderful cars is the working features and extensive detail to make them look real. It is like owning the actual car. So a non functioning model is not part of my collections. They are nice looking though and since my parents had Lincoln MK III's, MK IV's and MK V's, if they had operating features I would have gotten them at the right price. Just my two cents.
@whodeytink what color Riviera did you get Mark? I have the blue one and a dark met green one. Both are awesome
i do agree and I’m one that wants and loves as many working features as I can get. The only time I’ll add resin if it’s subject matter I really LOVE and that hasn’t been done in diecast. Automodello seems to be releasing such models. Mark lll, 65 Riviera, 68 Eldo etc these three were always MUST HAVES and I was always disappointed that a proper model was never offered. Oh also loved the Kaiser Darrin with unique sliding doors. They released that too and I have the yellow one
