I convinced Jimmy...
..to have his RR cast. That in itself was a task, as most casters do not have the ability to do something this large. We finally found a guy and he made some nice pieces. I just thought it shame that Jim had nothing but 1-offs.
He ventures to see "The King" every year and has him "swirl up" the models. Petty usually comments, "They never made this kit!"...That gives Jim the op to tell him that it's scratch built!
I've been around in modeling a long time, but I am still humbled by the work of others!
