I don't know if this has been discussed before, or if there is any interest, but Motor City USA (www.motorcityusa.com) is producing a 1:24th scale 1939 Cadillac Hearse (limo style and "carved sided") available in 4 different colors, as well as a 1939 Cadillac ambulance. The website describes them as highly detailed inside and out, with no mention of opening doors, hood etc. Apparently they are available now, as no mention was made of "pre-order" status. They are pricey at $299.00, but if they are like the Talbots, I'm sure they are beautiful.
