If one is not a Preview Society member, I take it we just wait until the car shows up on the DM website, right? Neither the '56 Buick nor the '57 Cadillac Seville (green) are listed yet.

George...Here is why your ship date is in August even if you are a PS member.

If you called DM and ordered the car as soon as you found out about it and before you found out it was a PS car, that would automatically put your ship date in August instead of July. Since you stated you are a PS member, the '56 Buick would have been automatically shipped to you in July had you not called DM and ordered it which you did not have to do being a PS member.

Larry...if your explanation is correct, it is the stupidest policy I've ever heard of.

I'm a member of the PS, but I get punished becasue I called to assure that the car was coming? That makes absolutely no sense at all.

And when I originally did call, I only said that I'd heard that the 56 Buick was next in the PS series, so I should be recieving it in July.

Very frustrating!

George, be sure and check to see how much you are charged.

If your called order overode the automatic shipment the price may be different (more). Would have thought that the PS automated order would have been shipped first.

George, if i get mine this Thursday, I have 2 ordered, I'll overnight you one, and you can send me yours when you get it......

Lawrence, if I may, a suggestion. Call DM tomorrow and join the PS, at least this way you will get the Buick before August or Sept. and the '57 Caddie repaint release isn't until mid Sept.

I didn't say it was policy George. But I have heard it has happened.

George, I'm about to order the '56 Buick. My wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday.

I'm still waiting to hear if they are doing a repaint of the '48 fastback in Black. Now that I would have to buy.
