It is 1:18 scale. Made from the old Hwy 61 molds.

JMHO, but I think Hwy 61 made very nice 1:18 cars. This one is now made by ACME.

Jay Walsh, Danbury Mint's '57 Olds is NOT 1:24.

Geez, no need to jump on poor Jay. It was an innocent error.

Innocent errors happen all the time. But read by others who don't know, they become fact.

So, we have a Oldsmomile '57 in 1/24 because what Jay said became a fact?

That's true George, however, pointing this out in that way was unduly harsh.

That is not what I said, and you know it. Jay posted something that wasn't true, because he didn't do his homework first. Yes, an innocent error perhaps, but when others read it, they may take it as fact.

George, I know what you are saying, but mistakes happen ...

? all the time, there was no harm done, it is diecast after all, it is the most innocent of innocent mistakes one can do, no sarcasm or harsh words are needed, there is enough much more harmful nonsense that we have to deal with every day. Moreover this forum has enough censorship already and adding more is a bit annoying.
