This 1977 Pontiac Trans Am 6.6 is the car. Sexy (in a Burt Reynolds sorta way), lean and mean looking, it suffers from the post-1971 detuning for emissions and not exactly for mileage. The 400 cid V8 was underrated at 220 hp actually being dyno'd at 260-280 but the performance was rather dismal. It took a half a minute to reach 100 mph and top end was only 10 mph more. The 1/4 mile took 17 secs reaching 82 mph. How badly does this car need one of the LS crate motors and a 6 speed? That upgrade would definitely be worthy of the Bandit.
AND, lose the CB!

10-4 good buddy!
Was there ever one of these cars that didn't have the T-roof eventually leak?
