looks great George. At long last I'll have all mine out soon, wall display cases are being hung tomorrow, new carpet Tuesday, then floor showcases arrive on Wednesday. Big week!

I'm excited for you.  You're going to have a busy, but fun week.  Hope you'll share finished photos when it's done.

The compliment from you Bob, means so much.  In the vast scheme of it all, my collection is non-existent in comparison to what you have.

I'm reminded of an old conversation we had a few years back here on the Forum about what constitutes a "small and large" collection.  I recall a member posted that he had a "large collection of 12 cars", to which another member responded, "a collection of 12 isn't large, unless it's kids".  Smile

The reality is, the members 12 cars was a "small" collection if compared to mine.  But then of course, my collection is "small" when compared to yours.  Smile Bottom line is we are all blessed to be enjoying old cars and this outstanding world of diecast scale models.

The bottom cabinets under my shelves are where I store car books, plastic model cases, my bucket of model accessories, and all the model brochures.  Here are two of them.

That is an excellent collection and a great display. I would like to know how many years did it take to collect all those models? Well done.

THANKS!  I can't have anything out of place.  Not sure if it's a good thing or a curse.

I guess I'd have to say 32 years.  I acquired the Danbury Mint '57 Chevy convertible in February 1990.  I was addicted immediately.
