Danbury Mint's 1957 Corvette in which they honored "Corvettes At Carlisle" co-founder Chip Miller upon his untimely death. I did the review December 2nd., 2005. I was never happy with the photos. I found the original review, here, on our Car List and Review section. You'll need to scroll down to read it. Certain punctuation marks have rendered a question mark, for some reason; try to disregard that. I'll post the url hot link after the photos I just took today.

even for someone with your dedication and drive,17 years is a long time spent on a shoot....I expect you`re grateful to finally be able to reclaim the studio space
A redefinition of perfection Tony !!!! BRAVO
Tony, your photos always make the car look like it is ready to drive away.
+1! The color combination is stunning. Was Aztec Copper a standard Chevrolet color? I don't think I've ever seen a big Chevy in this color.

Pete; yes, Aztec Copper was a standard Corvette color for '57. Copper has never been a favorite of the painters of Corvettes for many reasons. In fact when I interviewed Roger Judski for a review I did of the DM 1969 ZL-1, I asked for photos. He sent a bunch. One of them showed a car in front of it, a rare, one of 92 1994 C-4. With its buckskin interior it was even rarer. It reminded me of one I owned new in 1972. After some conversations I bought it. Here it is in front of the real '69 ZL-1 (1 of 2 in the world). DM modeled both.
Years later it now sits in buddy, Tom Ciryak's, garage.
Thanks for the info Tony. That C4 is a piece of art. Beautiful!!
I have all the DM Corvettes up to '67 and the Chip Miller special is one of my favorites.
