I love getting the mail! I love Muscle Cars! I love Oldsmobile's!
So when this Brochure from FRANKLIN MINT arrived in my mailbox it was a GRAND SLAM DAY!
Of all the Muscle Cars offered from the Big Three in the late Sixties/early Seventies, many were favorites of mine, but none were more a favorite than an OLDSMOBILE. As it says on the Brochure "The Last of the Oldsmobile Muscle Cars Roars Once Again"! And only my Roar was louder when I saw this Oldsmobile on the cover! This 1:24 scale replica from FRANKLIN MINT is even better than the photos in the Brochure. THEY GOT IT RIGHT!

The replica as FRANKLIN MINT boasted in their marketing, was SIMPLY MILES AHEAD!

Also a very nice model. I passed on this one at the time, I wish I hadn't of. Since I had the DM version, I didn't think I needed two the same color. Oh well.
I did get the FM '70 Olds in black, been trying to find a red one for a good price. Maybe someday I'll find both the gold & red.

Hope you are able to eventually find a Red one John, it's a nice car. I remember how nice it was working with Michelle Peters when I ordered both the Black and Red versions. I learned through that initial transaction with her that she was a special person who understood us collectors and she knew how to deliver great customer service.
