I was in my senior year in high school in 1969/70, and the cars that made me crazy were the Muscle Cars...especially the OLDSMOBILE'S! So it isn't any wonder that when I received this Brochure from DANBURY MINT, I couldn't order it fast enough and the model couldn't arrive fast enough. I remember being told by the customer service rep that delivery would be in about two weeks, but I still waited with baited breath everyday, thinking "today would be the day" it arrived. When it finally did land on my doorstep, I wasn't disappointed!
IT'S BEAUTIFUL!

George: I agree, always liked the Oldsmobile Cutlass from 69/70 and I do have this one and the coupe. Liked the coupe so much I believe I have 3-4 of them from Crown Premiums which are equally fantastic, along with the DM and FM version. I also have the green convertible as well.

I have a White with Gold accents 70 Oldsmobile from Crown Premium. It's a nice car and displays well. Did they come in other color combinations?

George: Since I am busy setting up new car room/office, I have been able to finally start and see all the cars that I had not put out. For the Crown Premiums 442, I have a Red/White Stripe, Black/White Stripe, White/Gold Stripe, White, and Blue/White Stripe Convertible. Then the DM Red/White Stripe convertible and the FM Gold Nugget car. Still missing the Gold DM Version.
@carsman1958, I'm envious of all your Crown Premium Oldsmobile's. I only have the white with gold stripe version. Wish I had more. Good luck with setting up your car room display. That's what fun is all about.

George, this car was my first new purchase directly from the Danbury Mint. Beautiful model. My only complaint with it is that the white top turned brownish yellow over time, probably a reaction between the cloth and the glue. I ended up painting it black.

Interesting about the white top on your Oldsmobile. Mine seems to have fared well and is still white. It is a nice model.
