Times were simpler in the Fifties and America was excited about the NEW CARS.  They were bold and stylish with Fins and Chrome, and they stretched your imagination with mind-boggling gadgets and horsepower.

DANBURY MINT in this Brochure teased us with all the fun and excitement that each of these FABULOUS FIFTIES machines had to offer.  Grab the phone and place your orders!

I am a big fan of the 50's and 60's vehicles, so I can say I have all the ones shown in the brochure.

@perrone1m

THANKS Tony!  It's the scans that take the time.  Glad they are appreciated.

Super brochures and an even better writeup George. I agree with John N. about the 50s and 60s. Exactly 65 years ago tomorrow I got my driver's license...what a glorious day for this 16 year old.

Congratulations on that anniversary Bob!  That's a monumental memory.  I remember when I got my drivers license too.  It's so great that we lived an era when cars were so exciting.

Thanks George. Funny thing is that I see a lot of kids today that don't seem to get excited about getting their driver's license...that sure wasn't the case with me or my car buddies.

@bob-jackman, I hear you on that one.  Some kids don't even think about getting their licenses anymore.  And we all know that the kids of today are not in to cars like us older folks were.  A car doesn't mean anything to them anymore.  Their cell phones are their focus.
