They were friendly rivals, but make no mistake about it, they were fierce competitors in the Fifties. Considered by most buyers to be the "Bread and Butter Cars" offered from General Motors and Ford Motor Company, these Chevy's and Ford's were often times the most recognizable cars on American Highways. And it's likely to say that if polled, most car owners in their lifetimes at one time or another, owned a Chevy or a Ford. The FLYERS shared for today represent FIVE cars from each company produced in exclusive 1:24 Scale Diecast for us collectors to proudly show off and brag about our favorite Chevy's and Ford's.

LOL, I really should sip down that first cup of coffee before I post these Flyers. Just noticed, and don't know how I didn't see it earlier, the Ford Flyer has both a Mercury and an Edsel on it. Oh well, it's a cool Flyer just the same.
Of the 10 cars featured on the two Flyers, I'm only missing one. How about you guys, how many grace your shelves?

George. I have them all. All are gems. I need to find all my old brochures and start looking at them again. Brings back memories for when they did come on a regular basis.

That's the reason I've been sharing all these brochures and flyers. As noted, getting them in the mail was only second to actually receiving the models themselves.

Have them all. Thanks for posting George.
I guess DM realized that Mercury and Edsel were part of the "Ford Family".

I've got 'em all except the Edsel wagon. I've bid on a couple on eBay, but ain't won one yet. Well, actually I don't have the T-bird now, but had it in a previous collection that I sold.
