The Limited Edition 1953 BUICK ESTATE WAGON!

Getting this Brochure in the mail was especially exciting because I didn't think DANBURY MINT could outdo their beautiful ORIGINAL Terrace Green release of this fantastic model.  But hey friends, with this outstanding NEW release in Imperial Blue, lightning struck twice!

You'll notice in the first flyer, the car is shown with "wire wheel" covers, which were what appeared on the original version, and they look great!  The subsequent flyers depicted the different and regular "wheel covers" with the "red" rim.  And though I love the wire wheels on the original, I love the regular wheel covers on this Limited Edition.  Making each version a little different makes each special in its own way.

Parking this Imperial Blue LE next to my Terrace Green original is like having Station Wagon Royalty on my shelf.  Danbury Mint captured the era of the family car to perfection with this and the original '53 Buick Estate Wagon's.  The detail and working parts on this model are beyond description.  It's a "must have" model!

And what's ironic is that I am not a Station Wagon fan.  Smile

Excellent George, I was also thrilled to get the blue version with the different wheel covers, it gives the model a dressier attitude.

Here they are...

@jcarnutz, too funny, I just posted "My FAVORITE 1:24 of the DAY" cars and it was both Buick's together.  Thanks for your pic!
