Western Models did not make many white metal kits and fully built 1/24 scale models.
This open Jaguar XK 150 Drop Head Coupe in black is quite rare, being made by Western Models. It is very heavy.
Chav is showing a fine Western Models 1/24 scale 1962 Ferrari GTO 250 in the Supercar and Hypercar Forum.
The Jaguar while a fantastic car, is not quite that exotic.
Thanks for displaying this David! I love the Jag XK series!
thats great thanks David
David, it looks great. You may have missed the Jaguars posted by lu and me in the “Unique 1/24” thread. Check page one, lu posted a red one from Small wheels similar to yours (it may be the same cast), he also showed a coupe.
I think all 3 brands Western Models, Small Wheels and Model 24 were all done by the same manufacturer in UK.
Yes, missed that posting. Mine is a Small Wheels issue also which Western Models made for them. Thanks for alerting me. I'd like to have those other Jaguars shown.
Here is the base.
Generally, I stick to 1/43 these days simply because of space. I have storage boxes of a lot of models that have currently lower priority.
Here is a model I found listed as Western Models, it came from Exoto before they started making their own models. Don't know anything about it other than it's an MG. Dad bought some wire wheels for it but never put them on...

Hi Josh.
That is a fine looking MGTF. Very few of these came new with wire wheels. The ones on it are more representative of that final version before the MGA.
I did not know that Exoto once used Western Models white metal castings. This is a great model, quite attractive and collectible.
I love both the Jag and MG.
+1 !
