Johnny Lightning is coming out with some very cool new 1/24th diecasts.
51 Studebaker starlight coupe, 59 Chevrolet Brookwood Station Wagon, 61 Econoline Pick-up, 57 Chevy 150 Buisiness coupe, 50 Jeep Pick up, and a bunch of muscle cars. They are all stock, I have only seen a picture of the 51 Stude, and it looks pretty good, the proportions looked right on the money. They will sell for about 14.00 each! The Stude is scheduled for Feb. release, the rest soon following.

YES !!! I want that 59 Chevy wagon. J-L does some nice stuff.
Between these, and, Yat-Mings fire trucks and Presidential series, maybey the less expensive companies have discovered 1/24. I know we had Jada, Maistro, and a couple of others, but, they are toys in my opinion.

I hope the proportions and scale are correct. With a little work you can add detail and have a nice shelf model. I saw the muscle car list and it included a Nova and a Duster, two images not seen in 1/24. I won't get excited till I've seen them, though.
