Just finished building a firehouse for my Yat Ming

I love those architectural details......
Do you cast items like the corbels from a master? I'm afraid to ask about the roof tiles.

Richard, yes. The first thing I do when starting a model is to try to figphoto no longer available
ure out which parts I will need many of and then I make one master of each and cast them in resin. Here's the master and mold for this model, a window, a door, corbels, sills, and lintels. Sure saves a lot of time. The shingles were cut from card using a CriCut, a machine used by women for scrapbooking. I have a program I use to design various shape shingles and cut tons of them.photo no longer available

Gene, believe it or not, I have memories as a small kid, seeing the same scene at a firehouse near my home. That big shiny dome fascinated me.
