Just heard a RUMOR that the FM March 29th Rallye Car will be a.....
1967 Corvette L-89 (I know, I asked and was told L-89, not L-88) in Elkhart blue, Limited to 3000 and priced at $135.00! Hey T, didn't you have Paul K make you one of these in this color? Post a picture if you did!!!! All us Corvette NUTS are happy, but bet a majority of the D4C members aren't! F.M., at least, realizes that you can't loose with a CORVETTE!

Franklin Mint Can Lose.....
What about the Stars and Stripes Vette? What a ugly unpopular car. Dont get me wrong, I love the stars and stripes but not on this car...lol. We are still sitting on all of ours...lol. Thanks.

Roy, Always glad to have another Vette! This is a roadster,I assume, and not a coupe. Engine choice is interesting being the L89. They're weren't a lot of those aluminim head 427/435 HP cars produced. What color is the interior??

Hope this one has the Black interior, the only other color available with Elkhart Blue was TB (Teal Blue) and hopefully will have Bolt-ons and Side-exhaust!!

I saw this model on Paul's web site and it reminds me of a '64 or '65 ..
'Vette a friend of mine (Johnny) had in high school. His parents (owned a furniture store in our town) bought it for his brother who was terminally ill. When his brother died, the 'Vette was given to Johnny. He drove a new '64 or '65 'Vette and I drove a '55 Bel Air Sport Coupe. Holy smokes at the difference.
One day after school, I wasn't working my part time job and Johnny came over to our house, and let me drive the 'Vette...327 with 365 HP, four speed. Our house was on a corner and when I turned the corner by our house, my dear ole mother was in our yard picking up pine cones. I gave 1st and 2nd gears about all they could take right in front of dear ole mother... grinning all the time. That thing would FLY and was just fun to drive. I'll never forget it. The only thing I've ever driven since that was as much fun was my cousin's '69 GTO Judge. It could give the 'Vette a run for its money and probably out run it. I still liked that 'Vette better though. It was the same color as this but had whitewall tires and wheel covers.
That night at supper, my dear ole mother (she died in 1999) made comment about some fool in a sports car earlier that evening. I never did tell her that was me!
