The weathering on that model is beyond belief. I especially like what's left of the blown out tire . Good work JB.
@bob-jackman.......... Thank you so much Bob....when you`re totally immersed in something creative, life is a continual barrage of dopamine infusions 😬
absolute model making masterpiece! Just wish you'd tackle more John.
What a wonderful masterpiece of weathering John. I am truly impressed.
@john-barry I'm sure the bunnies wont mind, few carrots as bribery? I know you're keen on tractors, how about having a go at the 1/24 kits that are around? You'd really ' 'rough em up' and weather them superbly!

Thank you David........weathering is a VERY forgiving process to create and apply.....make an error, just paint it out until it looks right
.....it took me three days to get this leaf spring mount correct.....on my first attempt I colored rust around the bolt holes and blue paint on the forward surface (that would have rusted in use)
.....this was followed by me doing that bent dog ear stare for a day before realizing my error......in the final assy the colors have been corrected

Despite your much acclaimed philanthropic lifestyle Geoff, I suspect that you dont hold sway over the Bunnies or have clearance over their work and vegetable demands .............as for tractors,I still plan to someday build that swell Ferguson Le Petit Gris
haha something to work on sir! My bunnie communication skills!
It's seems realistic enough that a tetanus shot should be required before proceeding.
Incredible attention to detail, amazing amount of weathering.

I've always admired the truck and its authentic look; I'm as equally impressed with the extra-special photos!
