Wonderful pictures of two wonderful models. The Riviera and convertible are two of my favorite models.
Two winners! That tri-tone Buick in four door configuration was a total surprise when issued.
2 beauties, I have the Buick and the 2 tone green Cadillac. We deservedly wrap DM up all the time but didn't FM come out with some stunners at times? Thanks Geno
@geoff-jowett Thanks all, Geoff, FM could knock out some home runs. I especially like this Godfather Caddy. 💯👍
2 great looking models. The photography is great too.
@perrone1 Yes it was....I remember that. I had both of these models but sold them when I focused more on 1:43.
Thanks guys, I do appreciate it. 😊
@perrone1 Tony, GFCC did a 56 Roadmaster four door hardtop in 1/43 scale. I have the model in coral/white and black/yellow. I don't remember seeing it in the tritone combination but they did it in several colors.
Thanks Bob. I'm near certain someone here showed a pic of one. I'll check to see if I can find one on the net.

The '57 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser is my favorite Land Yacht too. I leave the skirts on mine to further expound on the excessiveness of the styling. It stands out for sure on my model shelves! I think it could be safe to say that it ranks at the top or very near the top of Fifties Excess! Your pics are great!

I love the DM '56 Buick Roadmaster 4-door hardtop, and agree with Tony that it was a complete surprise when issued. I don't have the FM '55 Cadillac black sedan, I've always been sad about that. Ironically, I was working briefly at the FM store in Mall of America back in the late 1990's and that Caddy was a hot ticket, but for some reason never got one for myself. I have the Pink Elvis piece of junk, but the black one. I call it a piece of junk because I'd rather have the black version! The pink one is hidden on my shelves in the back, because I really hate it. If someone were in to trading my pink one for a black one, I'd be all over it.
