Brian's WCPD and Danbury Mint, elevated each other's model tech; to the point where it was difficult to tell one from the other, feature-wise.
Bright & beautiful in red.
One beautiful 64 in bright red. You would take a look at this one coming down the road in an instance. Red makes peoples heads turn.
@perrone1 Well said Tony. When WCPD and DM were both producing models, I had a heck of a time keeping up.
Perfection!

Just how was Brian able to compete with the mints at such a high level...? It's a shame that I only ever got one car from him and that's the Lincoln Mark ll.
She looks hot in that red dress.💯😛
beautiful. Yes I endorse all the positive comments about the red. It really works doesn't it? Thanks John

AMEN Tony! The precision of replication that both DM and WCPD brought us were incredible works of art. FM had their moments too, but I found that often they were hit or miss. Not the scenario with DM and WCPD. It was a special era for those of us that collected these priceless beauties.

At the time of doing three and four new 1/24th scale release reviews per week, I recall coining a specific phrase. Upon seeing such innovations as internal door hinges to replace the dog-leg appendages, scissors-hinged hood springs and working suspensions, I routinely called the era, "The Golden Age of Diecast." WCPD extended that era.

Again AMEN to that.

Sorry, I meant to say the Continental Mark 2. At least I got it directly from him when I met him at the Anaheim convention center hobby show.
