My twin brother, Larry, built this detailed Divco Model 21 over 40 years ago entirely in brass. This was decades before Danbury brought out their gorgeous, smaller Divco shown recently in detail by Rich Sufficool.
The local dairy in our home town had one of these larger Model 21 Divcos sitting derelict behind their building back in the '70s, and they not only allowed him to photograph and measure the old vehicle, they also found and gave him the maintenance/parts manuals for the truck. The brass scratchbuilt project took him almost a complete year of spare time and it's been kept in fine shape in a display case ever since.
this is magnificent !!! and it`s an honor to view these pictures
OMG! That is so very impressive.

Wow........what a beautiful job done on this truck!
Seeing You and your brother Larry's modifications and creations is just simply amazing. I really look forward to seeing them.
I dunno what else I could add! Brilliant work
You guys do great work. It's interesting to see the finished products.
Perfection! There are nice models and then there are the Read brother's models in a class all their own.
Once again, AMAZING work. I can't imagine perfecting body lines in sheet brass.
