I was perusing eBay last week and saw this Dodge Sweptside pickup.  Prices on these models are very reasonable, easily had for under $50.  I only paid $27 plus shipping, with box but no papers. The antenna was missing but I found a suitable replacement.  It fits in well with Chevrolet's Cameo pickup and a nice addition to any collection.  However, I do have a question about this truck:  Where's the radio?

Shockingly low price!  Good for you; it's a cool and different pickup.

Looks like you got a couple of squatters there JB!  It's a good thing you have two Sweptsides.  You'll probably never get this one back.

Great pickup Pete and I mean that both ways! Not one I have and not easy to tell from the pics, where the radio actually is. I did learn, online, that the radio AND antenna were dealer installed options back then and that three locations were available for antenna installation. Also there are these photos of a radio install on a Sweptside:

Pete, the radio is against the ceiling between the visors.

Thanks David, I would never have thought to look up there. This also explains why the antenna is roof mounted!  Great pictures btw.
