In 1956 Lincoln finally got their own body design after sharing with Mercury since WWll. Their top of the line model was aptly named the "Premiere" (with the Capri their entry model). This Island Coral was one of 20 different DuPont colors available with over 30 tutone combinations. It shared the special 368 cid V8 and 3 speed Turbo-Drive with the Continental Mkll and offered similar luxury appointments. It notably borrowed a few styling cues from the Lincoln Futura. Almost 20,000 tudor hardtops were sold that year.
Great model by Danbury Mint.
