One of my real favorite car designs. Remember how it was going to be a DM release close to when they closed down? The 1:1 sold well in Australia but nearly all were 4 doors or utes, and it sold here as the Customline. And its one of my earliest memories in the mid to late 50s of really beginning to love cars. This is a good kit, love the chrome trim, and there's plenty of detail. For some reason it did not include side rear mirrors. Here is the convertible with the hardtop I completed a few months back.

When seeing how the tops fitted before painting I decided the actual white plastic looked good so I left the tops as is.

And in my new one car lit garage.

Two super builds Geoff. I almost missed the Cornado kit on the convertible. The Indy pace car had this kit.

Those are both very nice models, especially the convertible. Nice job. I was really looking forward to the DM release, too bad it never happened.

Excellent build of this Ford ! It really looks superb and it is a fine addition in any medium, including this kit. It is a classic Fifties automobile
