@jack-doddsEven though cars like the Turnpike Cruiser and Edsel are infamous for being garish and kitsch, I wouldn’t want to catch sight of them when I look at my display. There are a lot of cars from the ‘50’s and ‘60’s that are over styled but manage look pretty cool to me. ‘58 and ‘59 General Motors automobiles come directly to mind, I personally think they look over done in a positive way. The elements of styling are more cohesive, not just a random bunch of oddities thrown about just to be thought of as being new and different.

I really like this beautiful space-age automobile and I am happy to have some Mercury Turnpike Cruisers in 1/18 and 1/43 scales from Yat Ming.
