Pics from an Expo held in suburban Melbourne last weekend. All types of models on display. The skill level was outstanding. Majority would be of a military nature but a good representation of cars, interestingly 90%+ were 1/24, 1/25. For more info just search the event title on Facebook.

Firstly this was my favourite. 1/24 Jeep in an incredible diorama.

Tony I have this Lanz, waiting to be completed, this is actually a 1/32, mine is 1/24. Kinda set a standard hey?

The photos are terrific; thanks for taking & sharing so many with us Geoff. I am always mezmerized by particularly well done dioramas and that Bulldog is super cool. Can't wait to see yours completed in our 1/24th scale!

I've built a lot of those models shown over the years and mine never looked that good.  Wish I had their skill set.  My favorite was the 60 Ford.  The paint is phenomenal.

Thanks Geoff, I really enjoyed this post with a fantastic variety of fine models. We used to have this type of competition in the Toronto area but I have not seen one recently. Love to have them back.

I have built both those Formula One cars. Nice to see them again.

Great pictures. I always enjoy seeing others modeling skills. Dioramas make the models look much more realistic. Thanks.
