Niiice! I love the styling of the '66/'67 Nova SS and the 327 option was a powerhouse at the time.
Love 'em both - but that Nova is knock-out beautiful. Perfect color too!
This pic of the '65 Impala reminds me of how shocked I was at first seeing it. Talk about a wholesale change over the previous year! I wonder how may owners of the '64 groaned out loud when they saw the very desirable design change? Same could probably be said for Pontiac owners.
@jack-dodds I agree Jack, mom and dad had a '65 Bonneville when I was a kid, I loved that car. It looked a mile long to me, lol.😊

For my eyes, the '65 Chevy was a great sight. After the beautiful '62, Chevy went south on styling in '63 and '64, so when the '65 exploded on the scene it was a winner for me.

When I was a kid our neighbor Connie Kelly used to buy a new GM car every 3 years on average. I recall she traded in her beautiful white '61 Pontiac Parisienne (Catalina equivalent) 2drht for a new '64 Impala in burgundy red metallic with biscuit colored interior...a gorgeous car which I always used to admire. I guess she was one of those owners shocked by the '65 offerings because she traded the Impala in after just one year for a '65 Pontiac Parisienne 2drht in dark aqua metallic, which she kept for two years. The lady had great taste in cars! The last car I was aware that she bought (she moved away in '69) was a gold/black vinyl '67 Camaro RS....I suspect she must have had a mid-life crisis. Lol.
@perrone1 Tony, that's it, except theirs was burgundy. I love it in white too. Here we go, right down to the same wheel covers and black interior.😁
oh boy! My favorite 60s U.S car. Thanks Tony. From memory we sold the Canadian version over here with a slightly different grille. Didn't sell in huge numbers (you all saw the Holden figures in my other post!) but would blow me away whenever I spotted one. One that did sell in relatively large numbers however was the 65-68? Impala. Question mark on what year they stopped selling that body style here. However most were 4 doors. the Jada Supernatural version has some appeal but just looks a bit 'rough' and I'd really prefer a stock version. Thanks Geno, great post.
@geoff-jowett Geoff, this Greenlight version is well done. I've seen the JADA version, you're right, don't waste your money. The Greenlight version is definitely worth getting. I'm eventually going to put some Chevy rally wheels and white letter tires on it and remove the spot lights.😊
thanks Geno, only one for sale on our local ebay at a bit above what I'm prepared to pay. I'm just about at complete give up point with buying off U.S ebay with all the postage issues. Great photos, definitely what I'm looking for
@jack-dodds Love the story Jack. For those who do not like Connie kits, luckily Connie didn't have them on her cars.
@geoff-jowett You're welcome buddy. If I remember correctly, I got this one for $20 at a local hobby show.💯👍😊
