Great pics! The only I can claim to own is the '60 Chevy from Franklin Mint. Despite the visible defects of the model, it is nicely done and I like it. I learned with FM early on that their models weren't always perfect (or as near perfect as it should have been) in the manner Danbury Mint spoiled us with one "replication of perfection" after the other, time and time again. Yes DM had their blemishes, but normally they were spot on. FM on the other hand teased us at times with thing of beauty and then disappointed us with others.

I agree with your assessment of the FM and DM models George. One thing I do like about this FM Impala is that it has a 6-cylinder engine rather than the 348 V8, which is what is usually modeled by the Mints.
