In contrast to the AMT Couger Eliminator kit I posted a couple of weeks ago this is a fabulous kit. Highly detailed, easy access to parts, excellent instructions. Would love to see one of our highly skilled modellers have a go at it. One body only so for the most part I've got away with masking between the body color and painting the woody affect. Note the near square "timber" insert panels are actually supplied decals. There is also a 1948 Ford coupe and convertible available which I will also add giving me a complete set of available 1/24/1/25 1947/48 Fords.
Here are a couple of interior shots before fitting, note the detailed dash
And with my DM 1947/48 Fords.

I love seeing model builds here. Doesn't matter to me wether they're diecast or plastic. Thanks for your pics of a beautiful build.
I have the convertible which I built about fifty years ago. I always favored Monogram models because they were 1/24 scale. Geoff, your pictures show why they work so well with the DM models.
@carsman1958 thanks John, yep, although not to sure about my color choice. I found a green one when searching for colors and really liked it. My green is a couple of shades lighter but I still think it works well with the timber look. My "timber" effect is realistic but blotchy, have to try to figure out how to make the grain lines smooth.
@bob-jackman thank you Bob, I'm so pleased to be able to complete "sets" of cars using the kits. Actually today I'm picking up a 1940 Ford van which will, I believe, when added to my FM and DM 1940 Ford models complete the set in 1/24/25 scale.
