Good kit, few difficulties, plastic surface did not like yellow paint and the windscreen was hell to attach. All in all comes up pretty well.

I blackwashed the grey plastic colored engine and I reckon its come up well, almost a cast iron engine block look!

Lots of yellow Rolls around so color choice is fine.

Oh MY! That engine is fantastic. So is the interior - overall, a WINNER! Great work Geoff!

Geoff, I built this model years ago but mine didn't look as wonderful as yours. The black wash on the engine is fantastic. I always liked Monogram models because they were primarily in 1/24 scale and the various parts fit so well. Thanks for sharing, you did the kit quite a service.

Very nicely done Geoff. I built this one years ago like Bob but to a far poorer standard. Love your engine work especially. I do keep away from yellow paint as much as possible.

thanks for your kind comment guys. I'm keen to try the blackwash on other engine blocks, hopefully will come up as well. I'll be very judicious with yellow paint in future David. Just apply it to non visible areas first to see how it goes.  Yes Bob, its great that it is a real 1/24. Sits well with the Italeri 1/24 kit and DM and FM Rolls from the same era.
