This is a nice kit, low parts count but has come up OK. There is a stock and custom/injected drag options and I've mixed and matched a bit. Couldn't resist using the injection engine and the 'hood bubble', while the stock hood can also still be used. Didnt use custom grille or bumpers. Also heres a couple of shots of the Fujimi RS-68 De Tomaso PANTERA. Nearly gave up on it a couple of times, some terrible, completely out of wack parts fits. It is however a stunning car.
and the trailer.
I'm hoping to display it with DMs Roadrunner, Superbee, Charger and the Hachette Charger but it is one of those 1/25s that is 1/25 and noticeably so, although it is not that evident in the pics. Also here I've used the stock bonnet.
And the Pantera. What a beautiful car, with of course an intriguing history. I didn't realise they made around 9000 of them, and a handful even made it here to Australia.
Oh MY Geoff! The color choice, and the engine on the Super Bee, excel!! The trailer is super cool and the Pantera looks terrific!!
Geoff, those a WAY COOL. No two ways about it. Amazing how some models that are supposed to be 1/25 are actual closer to or damn near right at 1/24. But yeah, if they are right at 1/25 you can definitely see the difference.
Geoff great work on the Super Bee. Love the color combo and the engine really turned out nice. Your stacks are so perfect.
thank you gentlemen I really appreciate your comments as always. Geno, I'm getting close to having a go at BMF. Just have not had a chance to get some as yet. Not sure how it would have worked on the silver Dodge as I used a chrome pen on the wheel well trim and can hardly see it. I had a go at panel line accents on the Pantera, oh boy is that fun! Its really a matter of just using the exact right amount for the line/area that needs doing. Too much it goes everywhere, too little it wont fill enough. Then the qtip takes out either too much or too little. I reckon its a real practice thing.
