Mustang, Caliber, Duesenberg
These three diecast cars were bought "as is" with the intended goal of restoring them. They were found at a local resale shop in the condition shown. This shop gets the returns and seconds from of the TV home shopping networks, and then resells them at modest retail prices.
The loose 1:24 scale MotorMax 1971 Ford Mustang Sportsroof is missing one of its rear tail light lenses, a door mirror, a gear shift lever, and an engine carburetor and air cleaner. Plus two front wheels, a crooked front license plate, and an out-of place back window. For a buck it was a steal.

For two bills, this loose 1:34 scale Kinsmart 2007 Dodge Caliber with pull-back action is missing a passenger-side rear view mirror only. It has a sun roof.

Signature's 1:32 scale 1935 Duesenberg SSJ was a joy to find for just four dollars. The display box was a crumpled mess, but the model is perfect except for one fault- the rear bumper is mounted unevenly. This is a real easy fix for such a classic car.
