I'm confident that walking in to my Car Room this morning, I was remembering a conversation I had with my wife yesterday when she was making out some Valentine's Day cards to our aunts and nieces.
We'd chuckled because of a funny story from a Valentine's Day back when we were first married. I'd went to FREDERICK'S OF HOLLYWOOD (I'm sure you guys will recall that store in Malls) to buy something sexy for my wife for Valentine's Day. Here's the story...
As I was looking through the racks of sexy women's ware, an older (well she appeared to be older) sales clerk came up to me and asked if she could help me with anything, Holding up one particular slinky outfit, I asked her, "Do you have anything like this in YELLOW?". And without missing a beat she responded, "Is yellow her favorite color, or yours?". Of course I was a little surprised by the question, but I responded, "Mine!". And that was the truth. I've always like the color yellow on most anything, and that goes for cars too. She smiled and showed me the outfit in yellow.
So when I entered the Car Room this morning, I no doubt had YELLOW on my mind.
Naturally, these THREE YELLOW cars caught my eye! What better way to start a day than a nice cup of hot coffee and seeing these Muscle Cars in vibrant YELLOW.
The cars respectively are, Danbury Mint's 1969 PONTIAC GTO JUDGE and 1970 OLDSMOBILE 4-4-2 RALLEY 350, and Franklin Mint's 1969 DODGE CHALLENGER HEMI.
Three spectacular Beasts in their day and my favorite color YELLOW!

I love yellow George, they look great, thanks for posting!
I have a little vendeuse story that is related to yellow and - to an extent - cars. My elder, successful and slightly staid brother likes fountain pens and opposite where I's working at the time, was a Bugatti store that sold super nice ties, wallets, etc. and fountain pens - one in vivid Bugatti yellow. I hadn't the money to get it as a gift, but went along with him to buy it.
There was some debate as how to recharge the ink cartridge and I opined that one squeezed the rubber bulb via a soft chrome band that surrounded it, dipped it into the ink well and released. And getting the dynamic of the staid elder brother, and as you say, George, without missing a beat, she said, in the dryest manner "Well of course, it's like when you're shooting cocaine on a Sunday morning, whilst the family are at mass".
They are great models and all in a great color. I love yellow on most cars, a few should never be that color, but these three look perfect.

Yellow is a cool color for cars, depending on the car and the shade of yellow.

Agree John. We don't want our cars looking like Taxi Cabs.

Nice group Tony, I have all of them except the Mercedes.
Same here Evan. I owned a 1/1 of the Thunderbird but ended up trading it to my dentist for my 55 Imperial.
@perrone1, WOW a nice group of Lemons...um, I mean Cars there Tony! All beautiful!
I've always liked Yellow in its many shades, with the shade on the Woody Ford and the Caddy of your photos being what I consider to be the almost perfect shade of Yellow.
If I had my way, I'd have the walls in our home all Yellow. It's a HAPPY color that always brings a
to my face.
