Some of you might get a kick out of this toy box survivor. I guess I was maybe 7 or 8 when I got this Buick hardtop / convertible in the early '50s. The pressed steel top slides back and under the seats. I'm guessing the scale is perhaps 1/20. Initially medium green with red interior, it somehow survived years of godawful abuse. I stripped what little exterior paint that was left and pounded out a big dent in the hood. It seems with a bit of body work it could be restored although odds are I'll never get around to it.

Absolutely a piece to hang on to, seems that old toys like these that I had just disappeared as I grew older…..such a shame
