"If you don't stop drivin' that hot rod Lincoln". This is the Harley-Davidson commissioned hot rod Lincoln Zephyr released in 2004. It's a really cool model at a very low pricepoint. The interior is way cool with a the juke box dash surrounded in faux burl wood. The seats are articulating. The engine bay with its V8 is plumbed and wired with braided hoses and a dual master cylinder with brake tubing. When Commander Cody hit 110 mph and cried "That's all there is and there ain't no more", I suspect this hot rod Lincoln has a bit more.
The gas tank is actually kind of a bank with the key nestled forward:
That's a neat looking model Rich. I've thought about getting one for my custom car collection, just wasn't sure. I think I might need to RETHINK that now, lol.😊
I remember seeing those for sale around 20 years thinking I must get one, forgot about it and hadn't seen it since until now! What a great interior? thanks Rich. Your opening line reminded me of the classic W C Fields line "it was a woman who drove me to drink, and I never wrote to thank her!"
"My pappy said, "Son, you're gonna drive me to drinkin'..."
Ha! so thats where it came from. Fun video, really worth a look gents.
good stuff Rich!
Rich, thanks for the photos. I have looked at this model for years and I actually have one as watched on my ebay file. I guess now I will need to pull the trigger.
