In 1927 the Soviets produced their first passenger car the NAMI -1. Hachette made a 1:24 version. I didn't like the plastic roof. It was very white, so I gave it a more grey look. And the roof carriers were also white, that color I could not find on original photo's, so I painted them blackish blue. The 1:43 version has also blue carriers , so why white ones on the 1:24 versions ? What also suprised me are the 2 doors. One at the left front side and one at the right back. Checked it on the 1:1 version, because I thought it was a mistake, but it wasn't...

For those interested in Hachettes Soviet cars, I found a link to a italian site with some 40 cars issued. Still looking for the 1932 GAZ A.

Been looking at one of those for a while, hesitating because of what I thought was lack of detail, but your pics show that's how its supposed to be! Back on the list!

I recall you were looking for a couple of Hachette et al Opels? Heres 2 I've recently added from an ebay seller in Germany. I'll give him a plug because for both of these he refunded excess postage costs without me even knowing I'd paid excess. Unfortunately he's sold out of a lot of issues, including a couple more I was after, ebay seller name:

sternenzaubershop

1938 Opel Admiral

o8

Opel Super 6 Cabrio Hebmuller

@donderbeestje Is this an Audi alongside your Opel? The two make a great set.

Another Soviet car from the Hachette series just arrived in my garage: the 1940 KIM-10-50. Here's a link to some interesting history.
