Vey nice models - all - but I particularly like the Alfas. The Disco Volante is very nice and I'm intrigued by the hatch at the back; presumably access to the petrol tank - but very big. Could this be for speedy, racing refuelling, I wonder?
yep, they do not seem to even have a website do they Geno? Just tried again in response to your post, no luck, but this list of the Mexican variants came up with a couple I've not seen before, along with the 'blink and u miss 'em' Falcon and Dodge Monaco. Disappointing though that they stop production at car 40.@geoff-jowett I've searched but couldn't find anything about the company.🤔
Have you ever seen this Fairmont? Looks great.

@geoff-jowett I have seen the Fairmont on Ebay. There is one of the Falcons on Ebay right now, but with a very steep price of $199 plus shipping.😲 I didn't see much I'd be interested in after #40 other than the Thunderbird SC and the Dodge Ramcharger.😊

Haha, thanks Geno I guess that means they made at least 3 of them, this one, yours and Hollis!
Appears to be just a deeply imbedded petrol cap Charles. Interesting story behind the car. I was going to copy and paste bits but it all seems interestingVey nice models - all - but I particularly like the Alfas. For what my opinion is worth, likely very little, I think the Automodello models are not even close to the quality detail and precision of the mint models back in the day. And certainly overpriced.

FYI: Salvat is a partworks company in the Spanish/Portuguese speaking countries. I think all their models cars are made by IXO...
hobbyDB has 5 or 6 of their series. Here is one: https://www.hobbydb.com/marketplaces/hobbydb/subjects/autos-inolvidables-1-24-series
I might cave on the '61 Caddy and the '58 Buick wagon.😁
thanks Karl, interesting how Salvat appear to have only one model on their site, a Fiat 600, yet there are many different Salvat models available on ebay and from JumajoFYI: Salvat is a partworks company in the Spanish/Portuguese speaking countries. I think all their models cars are made by IXO...

Those are all partwork models that are no longer for sale (secondary market only). Salvat sells them via a subscription or has them on newsstands for a limited time only.
