New question of the day! LOL of all the DM 1:12th models what do YOU think was their best??
Overal realism, features, etc.. For me I would have to say either the Cadillac or Mustang. It could be because I not a Corvette fan though I did own the black 1:12th briefly and sold it. Didnt do anything for me. Criterea here MUST be Danbury Mint and MUST be 1:12th. My pick is probably the Cadillac, just a hair ahead of the Mustang. If A fire was raging in my home and I could only save ONE that would be a damn hard choice!

Whew! Lot's of points to consider with the DM 1:12 fleet.
Earlier, you posed a question regarding "Best Bang for the Buck." I selected the DM 1:12 models that best fit that description.
The Corvettes are the only 1:12 DM models I personally do not own. However, I have a collecting buddy that had all of them. I've inspected them and they are fantastic.
The 1930 Caddy is superb. I especially like the paint scheme.
I believe the Mustang's best feature is the engine compartment. It is hard to tell the difference between the model and a 1:1. The labels found inside the wheelcovers was a surprising touch.
The '57 Chevy get's my vote as the best one. That is only because it has a couple MORE working components than all of the others.

Wow, wish I could give an answer. I had the red 1:12 Mustang on order when the plug was pulled. 🙁

I have owned them all, The Mustang three times
For me, the best one (they never made) would be the 57 Chevy stock hardtop. They had all the parts, it just never got made. I have often thought about buying the Big Kahuna and a Turquoise convertible and have one made. That would be bad-a**
As for cars that they did make, I like the turquoise Chevy best. I kept it and the red convertible. The mustang was kicked out of the top spot because It was not a Pony Car, with the fog lights,fancy interior and the styled steel wheels

The Cadillac is still the best.......................
Among them all for the following: The top fits perfect no matter up or down, the two tone paint job with stripping is awesome and the engine bay is fabulous with even the felt on the radiator shroud and cowl.
The overall chrome plated parts are even of better quality than the Bauer Mercedes and the Cadillac hood ornament is a delicate metal cast piece of outstanding accuracy.
The wheels are just amazing about the parts count up to the valve stems.
I owned the Chevy and Mustang and I agree they are both very nice.
The Cadillac is really a notch over in this big scale and I have no tire issue common to this model.
